O'Malley's Escape
Here's to July and iced cold tea! This tea was made last night during a cold brew session and first thing this morning I poured a cup and in no time it was gone. It's fast and so so so good. Last night I cold brewed "O'Malley's Escape" which is a wonderful caffeine free herb and fruit tea. It was named after the song Escape by Rupert Holmes. Here's the video below if you'd like to sing along! So...If you like Pina Coladas and gettin’ caught in the rain this tea is for yo

Making big plans
This time of year as we move into the lazy days of summer they become the best times for sippin' on tea and day dreaming of what is to come. We've been working hard to get our new teas lined up for you and we are very excited about what is to be offered next. Today, we took time to sample some of our new teas. One thing that we always do is taste what is offered to you before we sell it. If we don't like it, then we know you will not either and that is just not okay with us.

Oh Baby, Baby
Cold brewin' at its best! Tomorrow, we plan to greet Monday moring with a gorgeous brew of "Oh Baby, Baby" one of our Certified Organic Fruit Tisanes. It's a caffeine free tea and is filled with pure fruit. Apples, Mangos, Hibiscus and rose hips make up this yummy drink! It's also excellent for children and I know our kiddos will love this one. It's naturally sweet and full of flavor so nothing really needs to be added to this perfect summer tea. If (ha!) there is any lef

Cold Brews
It's been so hot and humid here in Asheboro, North Carolina that we've been cold brewing our teas each night for the next day. The kids are loving all the fruit teas we've been making (especially the ones that turn out pink). It's so easy and effortless and only takes a little while to do!
Here's a little introduction to cold brewing.
1. Cold-brewed teas taste sweet and smooth. This is because cold water extracts a different chemical balance from the tea than hot water.

New kid in town...
We woke up on this Father's Day to a front article in the business section of our local newspaper The Courier-Tribune. One of our long time friends Judi Brinegar was sweet enough to write a lovely article on our tea business. We are thankful for the the support and local interest in our small business. We have always loved our local paper and appreciate the staff for taking notice of us! If you have not had a chance to read the article go and grab a copy! #thecouriertribu

Coconut & Mango Colada
Each afternoon I start hitting a downward slump as many of us surely do! Running around the house making sure all three kids are taken care of can sure drain some energy. So today during my normal afternoon tea time and quiet break, I picked up my bag of Coconut & Mango Colada and brewed up a big batch to get me back on track.
If you have not tried this loose leaf tea I would highly recommend it to you because it is just so good. If you love coconut like I do then this

Treehouse Teas
We'd imagine the first bit of a blog post should be about who we are. So here's a short little introduction so that you can get to know us a little better!
We are a husband and wife team who love tea! On lucky nights after our kids are in bed (we have three kiddos) one of our favorite things to do is to put on a pot of tea and unwind together to reflect on our day. We sip, sample, blend and talk about teas over good conversation. Since our home resembles a treehouse, we th
